Mosaic Traditions of Morocco

Footsteps In The Sand

For centuries, the Jewish presence in Morocco was felt in every aspect of life. When the Jews were expelled from Spain in 1492, many migrated to Morocco, a largely Islamic country in North Africa. Here Jews, Arabs and Berbers lived along side each other in a flourishing society, preserving their individual traditions, customs and culture.

Join us on this memorable journey to this exotic land. Immerse yourself in this rich history, brimming with unique customs, ritual and folklore as we visit the homes of Rabbis and Kabbalists, merchants and sheiks .
