After fifteen years of highly acclaimed, private chartered tours,
Jewish History Study Tours is pleased to announce tours available to
the general public.
Under the leadership of renowned tour guide and historian Claire
Goldstein Simmons, Jewish History Study Tours offers intellectually rigorous,
week-long study trips to Poland and the Czech Republic. Participants
will enjoy a rare glimpse of the Golden Age of Jewish
life and culture before World War II, interspersed by visits to
major Nazi concentration camps.
For six weeks prior to departure, participants attend a weekly
class taught by Ms. Simmons. Students are expected to read and discuss
major texts on Jewish history and the Holocaust. Each day on tour,
students will enjoy comprehensive on-site lectures, followed by
group discussions to process the days sights and study. For
